Synced Director
dashboard

By putting registration-to-payout in one synced system, seat draws, blind clocks, and chip counts stay aligned on a single director dashboard — replacing clipboards and disconnected timers and cutting the disputes that come from out-of-sync floor data.

The Customer. A live poker room or festival organizer running on-floor tournaments — registration, seat draws, blind clocks, chip counts, and prize payouts — today juggled across clipboards, spreadsheets, and a wall timer. The operation works, but only because experienced staff hold it together. Any disruption — a dispute, a late registrant, a blown blind schedule — cascades across the floor.

The Challenge. Live tournament operations are a real-time coordination problem. Registrations, table balancing, the blind clock, chip counts, and payouts all have to stay in sync across a busy floor, and when they're managed in disconnected tools, errors and disputes follow. The gap is a single source of truth the floor staff and director share.

The wall timer doesn't know the registration count. The spreadsheet doesn't know the chip counts. The clipboard doesn't know the prize pool. And when any of these drift out of sync — under the pressure of a live event with players waiting — the floor director has to arbitrate manually, which slows everything down and creates disputes.

The Solution. River builds floor-management tools for live rooms and festivals — registration through payout in one system, with seat draws, blind clocks, and chip counts all synced to a director dashboard. When you build with River, every piece of floor data feeds the same source of truth, and the director sees the full picture in real time.

Under the Hood.

Tournament System Foundation
Reuses the production tournament system (table balancing, blind structures, prize math) from the shipped stack — not built from scratch for live events.
Registration Desk
Player registration, buy-in tracking, late registration windows, re-entry management — all feeding the live player count and prize pool in real time.
Automated Seat Draws
Seat assignment on registration, automated table balancing as players bust, and seat change management — synced to the director dashboard as it happens.
Synchronized Blind Clocks
A master blind clock that all floor displays and staff devices track together. Level changes, breaks, and extensions update everywhere simultaneously.
Chip Counts & Prize Payout
Chip count entry as players bust or consolidate, prize pool calculation from live registration data, and payout tracking — all in one place.
Director Dashboard
A single source of truth for the floor: live player count, table assignments, blind level, chip counts, and payout status — all synced, all in one view.

Results. By putting registration-to-payout in one synced system, seat draws, blind clocks, and chip counts stay aligned on a single director dashboard. River can deliver this for your live room or festival — replacing clipboards and disconnected timers and cutting the disputes that come from out-of-sync floor data.

"Registration, seat draws, blind clocks, chip counts, payouts — all synced to one director dashboard."
